by Ping Ping i3 Plus Blade Irons 3-SW Steel An improved transistion from the hosel to the head in the i3+ Blade helps reduce clubhead twisting in the rough and assists in alignment. The reduced offset in the blade ensures better players shot control and a solid feel without compromising forgiveness. The lead edge lowers the face surface for easier movement through the turf and more consistent ball contact. As a result, shots will come off the club face cleaner and control is improved. The lead edge and bounce also offer improved playability from a wide range of lies and conditions. The Custom Tuning Port (CTP) is 15% larger than the i3 to increase the club's perimeter weighting and allow for fine tuning the club's swingweight. The thermoplastic insert enables us to achieve the precise tolerances required for building custom-fit golf clubs without grinding or other common club-altering methods which can affect the subtle features designed and cast into the club. The walls of the port help control clubhead vibration for improved feel and feedback. The Notched and Flat-top Hosel, has been modified slightly to improve the irons' playability and feel. A larger notched hosel provides an easier transition through the grass and allows for precise loft and lie calibration. The flat-top hosel helps reduce shaft stress for improved feel.
